We’re now carrying select comic titles (trade paperback only)! Like movies, comics have a unique approach to storytelling. Their often profound story arcs and phenomenal artwork prove that comics aren’t just for kids. Come check em’ out!

Disc Refurbishing

We offer disk repair/cleaning to our customers. The cost is $3 per disc (plus tax) and we will give discounts for bulk amounts. We can do CD’s, DVD’s and most games.

Shareholder

Ask about our shareholder program! Essentially, it’s a way for you to “invest” in our store by either purchasing a movie from our vault of backorders (movies we want but can’t afford) or simply choosing a movie you want to see in the store. We’ll give you an honorary Shareholder t-shirt, throw your name on the front of the movie (“donation by ______ “) and the film will be free for you to rent. There are also other perks like cheaper new releases, discounts on ordering films, and much more!

Libations

We keep a fully stocked fridge of delicious beverages. Though it sometimes varies, you can always count on at least one or two types of top-quality root beer, tea and something fruity. Currently we have stocked Sioux City Root Beer (which recently switched to real sugar!), Blue Sky’s White Tea Mist Pomegranate Soda, and Jones Soda.

Volunteer

That’s right, you can volunteer at Best Place Ever in exchange for free rentals. Here’s how it works. We train you. You commit to one shift per week at the store and in return get free rentals (only good the week you volunteer and not valid with new releases or criterions). We’re not always in need of volunteers but you are more than welcome to come talk to us about it. It’s a great way to help out the store and help yourself out if you’re an avid movie watcher.
